What a buzz !!! As you can see, the local community, plus many from further afield, turned out in force to support the LUCS Fun Day which took place on Sunday 7th August 2022, many booking their regular spot on the tow path to cheer on their favourite cardboard boat. Fun Day 2022 was opened by Linlithgow Lady in Waiting Louise Thomson standing in for the Gala Queen who was on holiday. And what a wonderful job she did, with everyone commenting on her beautiful smile. Louise cut the ribbon across the basin in the traditional manner, allowing the LUCS Flotilla to enter and let the fun commence. The opening ceremony was completed by Councillor Pauline Orr who gave an enjoyable and humorous speech (accompanied by our very own Kelpie) before announcing the Fun Day officially open.
